Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a Teacher of Grace's Busy Bees, you will play a key role in nurturing and educating young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe and stimulating environment.
Duties:
  • Develop and help implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to engage school-aged children.
  • Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes learning through play.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress to ensure individualized learning goals are met.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's developmental needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom conducive to learning.
  • Implement effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/ associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR (preferred)
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Strong caregiving skills with a passion for working with children.
  • Experience in special education or working with children with diverse learning needs is a plus.
  • Willing to get a background check/fingerprinting.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
