The Early Childhood Education Center Associate Teacher supports the delivery of a high-quality early childhood education program within the University of Michigan-Flint Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). Responsibilities:

100 % Assist the Lead Teacher with curriculum, lesson plans, learning centers, activities, outdoor experiences, and classroom routines.

Provide active supervision and attentive care while maintaining required ratios and group size.

Support arrival, departure, meals, toileting or diapering, rest, transitions, and daily care routines.

Use positive guidance and support children's cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development.

Assist with observations, assessment information, portfolios, classroom records, and family communication.

Prepare, organize, clean, sanitize, and maintain classroom materials, learning areas, and equipment.

Support inclusion and implement established care, accommodation, and behavior-support plans as directed.
