We have an opening in both our Milan and Ann Arbor locations. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive developmental experiences, promote learning through play, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development and early learning principles. Supervise children during activities, outdoor play, meals, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement. Support children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene with patience and care. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster strong partnerships. Follow all safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures; respond promptly to emergencies or incidents. Support behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional development. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is desirable; ongoing training will be provided if needed. Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating responsibility and nurturing skills is valuable. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Willing to train candidates with no or limited experience, but who show interest and enthusiasm for the job.
