Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Teacher in the 2-3 Year-Old Room! This exciting role offers the opportunity to nurture and support the developmental milestones of toddlers, creating a warm, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. As an integral part of our educational community, you will collaborate with lead teachers to implement enriching activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional growth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay a strong foundation for each child's future learning journey. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity and development in toddlers Support daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play Engage children through interactive activities focused on early literacy, math concepts, and sensory exploration Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages independence and exploration Observe and document individual progress, communicating developmental milestones to the lead teacher and parents Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum enhancements aligned with early childhood education standards Requirements Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with toddlers aged 2 to 3 years old Knowledge of childhood development principles, including behavior management and classroom management techniques Familiarity with curriculum development focusing on literacy education, math skills, and sensory activities Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs such as autism or other developmental delays is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating patience and enthusiasm for working with young children Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives by providing compassionate care and innovative learning experiences. Pay:
$14.50 - $22.00 per hour
