Teacher Assistant

Joyful Hearts Early Learning Center is looking for a calm, loving person to assist in the older toddler classroom in the afternoons. Hours vary, as this person also covers breaks for other staff before going into the older toddler classroom and also closes with another staff member. Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings or classrooms is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder or developmental delays. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers through preschool age groups.

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
