Job Description

Play a meaningful role supporting students of all abilities by joining a dedicated school setting near Davison, MI for a contract position spanning the 2026-2027 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for compassionate, flexible paraprofessional educators interested in making a daily impact. Start as soon as possible and work through June 11th. Your assignments may include one-on-one support in resource rooms, self-contained classrooms, or general education environments for students across all grade levels. Anticipate working with learners who have cognitive or emotional impairments, providing classroom assistance and, at times, health aide support such as toileting or diapering. The district welcomes your preference for caseloads and will strive to match you accordingly.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 60 semester college credits or an associate degree (official university transcripts required prior to placement) Alternatively, a qualifying score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (460+) or SAT (480+ EBRW, 530+ Math) Experience collaborating with students of varying support needs ideal Willingness to assist with daily living support and health routines Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic classroom setting
Role Responsibilities:
Work full-time, approximately 37.5 hours weekly (potential shifts: 7:15am-3:15pm or 8:15am-4:15pm, depending on assignment) Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents Maintain confidentiality and comply with district policies In addition to a fulfilling opportunity where your work directly benefits students, virtual interviews offer a convenient application process.
