Mentor/Paraprofessional Reports to: Center Director Empower Students to Succeed as a Mentor/Paraprofessional Do you have a passion for making a difference in young lives? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Mentor/Paraprofessional to join our supportive team! In this role, you will: Provide academic and social-emotional support to High School students, both in person and virtually. Build meaningful relationships with students and motivate them to achieve their full potential. Collaborate with teachers to implement academic interventions and behavior plans. Assist with enrollment and orientation of new students. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. We offer a positive and welcoming work environment that fosters growth and development. You'll receive ongoing support from our experienced team and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
Qualifications:
At least 60 credit hours of college credit OR willingness to take the Praxis Paraprofessional test. Experience/skills with computers (Google Suite) and student management systems. Strong interpersonal and public communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
