9689265-48430 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across all grade levels for the 2026-2027 school year. This impactful role empowers you to make a daily difference, working either one-on-one or within small classroom settings, adapting to a variety of student needsfrom those with cognitive or emotional impairments in self-contained classrooms to more mild-moderate learners in general education. Flexibility on case assignments is valued, with consideration for your preferences whenever possible. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through mid-June. Your day will be structured around a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with start and end times varying slightly depending on the school building (typically between 7:15 am and 4:15 pm). Your responsibilities may include assisting with health and personal care tasks, fostering independence, building positive rapport with students, and collaborating closely with teachers and staff.
Desired Qualifications:
At least 60 semester hours of college credit (official university transcripts required), or An associate degree (or higher), or Passing marks on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (score at least 460), or Sufficient SAT scores (at least 480 evidence-based reading/writing, 530 math) Commitment to flexibility in caseload and classroom assignment Experience supporting students with special needs, emotional, or cognitive impairments is a plus Professional, reliable, and proactive communication skills Ability to provide compassionate care with tasks such as diapering/toileting You'll benefit from meaningful, hands-on experience, virtual interviews for your convenience, and the chance to positively impact the lives of students and their families.
