Job Overview We are seeking a Food Program Assistant to help oversee the meals within our daycare center. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Michigan food laws within a daycare facility. Duties Develop and implement a nutritious food menu within the state guideline. Manage program operations, including budgeting for groceries. Conduct regular assessments of food program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve services Maintain accurate documentation of program and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and serve meals Keep kitchen clean and any other space that is utilized for meals and snacks Help in classroom during teacher's lunch break Qualifications Experience working with and must love children Experience preparing meals and implementing food safety. Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in program management and budgeting. Must keep yourself clean and tidy with your hair pulled back daily.
