Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provides direct services to clients at the Engagement Center, which include the taking of vital signs, assisting clients by conducting a strength-based needs assessment, and then developing a recovery plan to address substance misuse issues and other needs like mental health care, transportation, vocational, medical, and aftercare planning. Responsible for client checks according to the set schedule, meal preparation, assisting with cleaning, changing beds, laundry, and building maintenance chores as needed. Responsible for required documentation administratively and in the files of assigned clients. This position is generally located at the Engagement Center program location, although you may perform duties at other locations sometimes.
DESCRIPTION
1. Participates in general staff activities (taking clients' vital signs, performing head checks on clients, routinely doing house chores/meal preparation) 2. Responsible for documentation in client files and proper record keeping. 3. Successfully complete and keep current all required trainings. 4. Collaboration with peer support, case manager, therapist, etc., to coordinate services for clients. 5. Responsible for taking the lead response in urgent/emergent situations when the Program Manager is not available in accordance with management policies. 6. Participates in safety drills. 7. Participates in performance reviews as appropriate 8. Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
