In this vital role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment, implement engaging curriculum plans, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool children's needs, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and respect among children. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Support children's individual growth by applying knowledge of child development instruction and early intervention practices. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents. Assist with lesson planning, assessment activities such as standardized testing when applicable, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles. Qualifications A non-expired Preschool or Birth to 5 CDA OR an associate degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent is required Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments preferred.

$30,000.00 per year
