GSRP Associate Teacher

Position Details
Qualifications
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Early Childhood Education; or
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; or
Equivalent coursework as defined by GSRP guidelines, with willingness to complete additional required training.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must be able to pass required background checks.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and meet the physical demands of working with young children.
Various Duties
Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering daily instruction aligned with GSRP curriculum, Early Childhood Standards of Quality, and program requirements.
Assist with ongoing child assessments using approved tools and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support classroom management, instructional planning, and students' individualized needs.
Engage regularly with families through conferences, newsletters, and ongoing engagement activities.
Participate in home visits, parent meetings, and family engagement events as required by GSRP guidelines.
Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, GSRP policies, and program quality standards.
Attend professional development, coaching sessions, and staff meetings.
Perform other duties/assignments as assigned by the lead teacher and/or the child care director.
