Little Learners Childcare Center LLC has an immediate opening for an Assistant Teacher at our Lapeer and Metamora centers where our teachers are working in structured classrooms and following a play-based curriculum. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available with an excellent benefits package and plenty of room for professional growth. We are a fast-growing, family owned and operated, childcare center specializing in providing early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we are looking for energetic, passionate, and dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach our little learners and make a difference every day!

Qualifications for our Teachers include:

Prior childcare center or daycare experience is preferred, but we are willing to train! Education in Early Childhood or a child development related field is a plus CPR and First Aid Certification; or willingness to obtain or recertify Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child's information Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance Strong communication and instructional skills Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic Positive and patient demeanor Excellent multi-tasking ability

Compensation:
