PARAPROFESSIONAL(S)

• Grant Funded Multiple Positions Available And any position that results from the filling of this position

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma Must meet physical requirements Must meet general qualifications of a paraprofessional Must have experience working with special education students Must function as part of a multi-disciplinary team in meeting physical and emotional needs of special education children in a highly structured setting. Familiarity with evidences based and best practices working with students with ASD Excellent communication skills Must fulfill "Highly Qualified" Federal requirements, and all State and Federal standards (passed ETS Parapro Assessment and /or Associate's Degree) Excellent attendance and punctuality necessary Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

DUTIES:

Work under the direction of the Principal and Teacher and as part of a team to satisfy the needs of the students Assist students with lunch, snacks, toileting, and other school activities. Other such duties as assigned
