Our newest IXL Learning Center located in New Hudson, Michigan and looking to hire GSRP Assistant teachers. IXL is a loving company that is continuing to grow. We are seeking exceptional candidates who are positive, patient and genuinely love spending their time with children.

We are excited to offer our eligible employees Competitive wages Health insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance Sick Pay (ESTA) 401K with match Paid holidays Flexible scheduling Childcare discount Professional development assistance Responsibilities of an IXL Assistant Teacher Work closely with the lead teacher Help plan and prepare a safe classroom environment Supervise children in classroom and on playground at all times, which may include lifting children and/or equipment Housekeeping and cleaning of our classroom environment Maintain a professional and positive attitude Daily communication with parents Requirements of an IXL Assistant Teacher Looking for someone who is positive, caring, loving, and patient Must work well with others Able to lift children of varying ages and equipment of varying sizes Early childhood experience is preferred An associate degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; or A valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential Work Schedule Requirements GSRP teachers are required to work the following schedule: 9am-4pm Monday through Thursday during the days/weeks of GSRP operations. Planning time alongside the lead teacher is required outside of these hours, typically occurring on Fridays. Details and weekly amounts vary by county. Required Friday or after GSRP hours training and professional development, as indicated on the GSRP calendar. Required additional hours for home visits or family conferences that may occur outside of GSRP hours. Rate of pay is based on level of education & experience in the field and upon completion of a signed GSRP agreement.Job Type:
