Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for children in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Support children with behavior management and provide a safe and nurturing environment
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement lesson plans that promote early childhood education
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate their cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and bathroom breaks
  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime to ensure their safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for working with young children
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
  • Experience in special education or working with children with special needs is a plus
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math, literacy, and other educational concepts
  • Passion for educating and nurturing young children
