The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a GSRP assistant teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children's growth, creativity, and learning. Responsibilities Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Educate children on basic academic concepts, social skills, and emotional development. Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote positive interactions among students. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents as needed. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Skills Must have a current CDA in preschool. Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong classroom management skills to create a disciplined yet nurturing atmosphere. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development.
