A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Summary:

- Support daily after-school and summer programming
- Assist the Site Coordinator with activities and program operations
- Build positive connections with teachers, parents, and students
- Help recruit and retain students
- Support family events and program projects
- Keep attendance and enrollment records organized and accurate
- Use basic tech tools (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Follow safety, emergency, and discipline procedures
- Travel between sites as needed
Schedule:
12-20 hours/week (school year) 32 hours/week (6 weeks during summer)Requirements:
- 18 or older
- High school diploma (experience in education/working with kids preferred)
- Strong communication, reliability, and organization
- Ability to lead age-appropriate activities
