Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Infant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support the development and well-being of infants and toddlers by assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, growth, and happiness for the youngest learners. We are a family owned and operated business Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant and toddler development, including sensory play, motor skills, and social interactions Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment aligned with health and safety regulations Engage with children through caring interactions, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and positive behavior Help with diapering, feeding, nap time routines, and other caregiving responsibilities to ensure comfort and well-being. Support communication with families by sharing updates on their child's progress and needs Participate in ongoing training on topics such as first aid, childhood development, special education strategies, and working with children with disabilities Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required - we can schedule that. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Ability to maintain patience, compassion, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs Join us as an Assistant Infant Teacher to nurture young minds during their most formative years!
