Immediately Job Description The Instructional Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing student learning by reinforcing lessons, supervising students, and providing one-on-one or small group assistance for students with special needs.
General Information/Duties:
Assist students with special needs to best understand curriculum by adapting to their learning style Ensure a safe and conducive environment for growth and learning consistent with policies and standards Work cooperatively with the teacher concerning accommodation plans for students Work as the resource person for complex discipline and physical situations that require intervention, screening, and follow-up Maintain confidentiality regarding personal information Effectively and consistently communicate and interact with students, parents, and staff Attend all mandatory staff meetings, events, or trainings Other duties as assigned by the Building Principal
Qualifications:
