KinderCare is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Memorial Elementary to support high-quality early childhood education. In this role, you'll partner with lead teachers to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson implementation, supervising children, supporting routines, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. You'll communicate with families, embrace diversity, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on children's development and your own professional growth. Responsibilities Support the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Assist with daily routines including meals, transitions, and rest time. Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization in line with health and safety standards. Observe children's development and share insights with the lead teacher. Communicate positively and professionally with families and colleagues. Support inclusion and respect for diverse backgrounds and abilities. Follow center policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures.
