Immediately Job Description About STMA Schools We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. Position Overview & Responsibilities Responsible for providing health services within the School Health Program including first aid to sick and injured students and staff and assisting with various health screenings; maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA. Assignments will vary; shifts of 6 hours or longer include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Wages:
$19.05 per hour
Benefits:
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law. Requirements & Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post secondary education; excellent clerical skills, experience in administering First Aid and CPR; Licensed Practical Nurse or comparable experience; have working knowledge of various medical equipment including but not limited to nebulizers, glucometers, glucagon, epi-pens, peak flow meters, audiometer, tympanonmeters, and inhalers possess respectful, empathetic listening and communication skills with students, families and staff Application Process Please apply online and address application materials to Amy Larkin, Director of Special Services at the St, Michael-Albertville District Office.
