Key Qualifications:
Current state certification or fulfillment of states paraprofessional requirements Prior experience engaging K-12 learners, especially in one-on-one or specialized classroom contexts, is highly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Capability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in supporting every students success
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on support and care to students in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs) or classroom objectives Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom climate Implement teacher- or therapist-directed interventions and curricular activities Supervise students in various settingsincluding classrooms, resource rooms, or specialized programs Document observations and report progress or concerns to relevant staff members Uphold district policies to ensure student safety and promote positive behavior This contract position starts as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, offering valuable experience supporting students at all levels and abilities.
