Multiple full-time openings are available for dedicated individuals to work as Paraprofessionals/Educational Assistants across a variety of school settings near Baxter, MN. Opportunities span early childhood, elementary, high school, and specialized programs that support diverse learners, including those with significant cognitive or behavioral needs. Open positions are available in early learning centers (Preschool), elementary schools, high school environments, and specialized programs serving young adults and students requiring behavioral or autism spectrum support. Schedules range from 15 to 35 hours per week for early childhood, and 78 hours per day for elementary and secondary settings.

Skills and Experience Sought:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must qualify under MN Department of Education guidelines (completion of an Associates Degree, 60 college credits, passing an approved paraprofessional assessment, or an alternative approved competency pathway). Experience or comfort working with students requiring behavioral support or personal care is valued. Ability to use and support communication devices. Enthusiasm for collaborating with educators, therapists, and other team members to assist students with IEPs. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and patience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting classroom teachers with instructional and behavioral support. Supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Utilizing communication technology to assist students. Helping with mobility, transfers, and personal care tasks as needed. Providing targeted support for students in specialized and general education settings.
