Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
As a Head Start Assistant Classroom Teacher, you will be: Responsible for implementing a pre-school classroom of up to twenty children. Duties include providing classroom supervision on a daily basis, conducting one home visit per child, and three parent-teacher conferences for enrolled families. We are excited to offer you:
- Fixed starting pay rate of $22.62 per hour

Qualifications:
- Position requires a preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential within two years of hire- Lakes and Pines provides training opportunities to obtain this
- Less than one year of experience
- Experience working with children ages 0-5
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage in compliance with Minnesota State guidelines on the vehicle used for work related travel
