Assists the classroom teacher with all aspects of the classroom. Educates and supports children in an individualized and nurturing manner, supporting and strengthening their positive physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Individualizes the curriculum to meet the needs of each child and family. High school graduate or GED and minimum of 18 years of age. Must obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) in their specific area of work within two years of hire. Early Childhood course work, training, and work experience. Possess current First Aid/CPR certificate or able to obtain. Ability to pass a background study. Have computer and technology skills. Regularly lifts 50 lbs., and occasionally more, and is regularly able to kneel, bend, stoop, and sit on floor to attend to the children's needs.

Needed Attributes:

Awareness of, sensitivity to, and ability to work effectively with young children and families from a variety of social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to be flexible with assigned duties and work independently and as a positive team member. Starting Wage:
