Assignment:
3.75 hours per day Minimum starting rate: $21.86 (Based on 2025-2026 wage schedule.) Click here to view the wage schedule for this position. Wages can be found in Appendix A, Class C. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides classroom and teacher support by working with small groups and individual students in a school-within-a school Chinese Immersion kindergarten class under the supervision of the licensed teacher. Supervise students in the classroom, lunchroom, and recess setting during the classroom teacher's lunch break and prep period.
Job Qualifications:
Demonstrated fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English languages. Experience working with elementary age students. Evidence of strong math and reading skills. Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students. Demonstrated evidence of ability to take direction. Demonstrated ability to take initiative. Clear communication in speaking and writing. Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Evidence of willingness to participate in staff development.
