Responsibilities include:
Assisting students with academic instruction in one-on-one and small-group settings. Supporting classroom activities, learning objectives, and individualized education plans (IEPs). Encouraging positive behaviors and helping students develop social-emotional skills. Monitoring, redirecting, and reinforcing appropriate student behavior. Assisting students with daily living skills and personal care needs when required. Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create engaging and successful learning experiences. Helping students build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate believes that: Every student can learn and succeed. Qualifications Candidates must meet Minnesota Highly Qualified requirements through one of the following: Associate's Degree (AA) Completion of 60 post-secondary credits A passing score on the ParaPro or ParaEducator assessment Equivalent training, coursework, and experience as approved by the Minnesota Department of Education Compensation & Benefits Starting wage: $22.82- 23.
