Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Childcare Aide or Assistant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in young children's lives. In this role, you will support classroom activities, ensure safe supervision, and assist lead teachers in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth, learning, and development and lead your day with a Christ centered heart. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while contributing to a positive and engaging Christian atmosphere for children and families alike. Responsibilities Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities tailored to individual needs Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering, toileting, and nap schedules Help children grow their faith in Jesus Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Be comfortable spreading the love of Jesus Strong classroom management skills and ability to implement child development instruction effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm This role is ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about early childhood education who want to grow their skills in a supportive environment while encouraging children to grow in their faith for Jesus.
