Assistant Teacher/Aide Monday-Friday AM shift is 6:55am to 1pm PM Shift is 2:15pm to 6:15pm Help Little Minds Grow Every Day! In this role, you'll work alongside our Lead Teacher to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. No two days are the same! From story time and outdoor adventures to helping little ones reach important milestones, you'll play an important role in creating meaningful experiences for every child. What You'll Do As an Assistant Teacher/Aide, you'll help with a variety of daily classroom activities, including: Welcoming children during drop-off and helping them feel at home. Assisting with meals and snack times. Supporting bathroom routines and diapering as needed. Encouraging learning through age-appropriate play and curriculum activities. Supervising outdoor play, walks, and active exploration. Helping maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Education & Experience Postsecondary education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with young children or in an early childhood setting is preferred. Requirements To be considered, applicants must: Successfully pass the Department of Human Services Applicant Background Study. Provide documentation of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States. Meet the qualifications for an Aide as defined under the Department of Human Services Rule 3 requirements. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Hear conversational speech, with or without a hearing aid. Read printed materials with or without corrective lenses. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds. Use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without assistive devices, to perform daily job duties, including safely evacuating the building during emergencies. Join Our Team!
