To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning. Plan, guide, evaluate, and revise MTSS academic interventions including training staff in the delivery of academic interventions, monitoring the fidelity of intervention instruction, and monitoring scholar data to identify those in need of additional academic support; serve as a team member to support MTSS social-emotional intervention; support staff in meeting the academic needs of scholars including facilitating and supporting PLTs in analyzing assessment results and making instructional decisions, assist with the implementation of culturally responsive teaching strategies, facilitate teacher collaboration and observation of peers, and provide professional learning; work directly with scholars including conducting individual assessments and writing and implementing individual scholar goals and objectives; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school and/or program for which employed; serve as the lead for all aspects of standardized testing; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning and support when applicable; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of building and district at the discretion of the supervisor. Instructional Assistant (IA) Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree required MN teaching license in appropriate field Preferred qualifications include: Considerable knowledge of the curriculum areas the teacher is responsible for instructing. Considerable knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods and approaches, current researched best practices and strategies. Considerable knowledge of students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective. Considerable knowledge of multicultural, gender and disability fair curriculum concepts. Working knowledge of instructional technologies. Considerable skill in classroom management and organization. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Experience working with high needs children and their supporting adults. Ability to communicate and work well with adults and students.
