Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing special education services to support the academic and behavioral competence of students. In addition, the Special Education Teacher is responsible for facilitating effective/informative IEP team meetings and completing due process paperwork that is timely and follows state compliance guidelines. PACT Charter School employs a full range of support for Special Education Teachers including an assessment team, special education lead teacher and due process clerical staff. Caseloads at the secondary level typically range from 15 - 21 students.
