Position:
6/12 Special Education Teacher MN teacher's license required in any of the following areas:
Academic and Behavioral Strategist, Specific Learning Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, or Emotional Behavior Disorders Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing special education services to support the academic and behavioral competence of students. In addition, the Special Education Teacher is responsible for facilitating effective/informative IEP team meetings and completing due process paperwork that is timely and follows state compliance guidelines. PACT Charter School employs a full range of support for Special Education Teachers including an assessment team, special education lead teacher and due process clerical staff. Caseloads at the secondary level typically range from 15 - 21 students. Salary will commensurate upon experience.1.0 FTE (Step/Lane is attached - Minimum $41,000 to Maximum $90,568) Benefits include health with an HSA, dental, life/ltd, TRA and

Location and Community:
PACT is located in Ramsey, Minnesota, a family friendly and growing community, of Anoka County with current population around 25,000, and 25 miles northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. The PACT Elementary campus is located at 7250 East Ramsey Parkway, in the 420 acre COR Development and next to Ramsey's newest park, The Draw, which includes an amphitheater, water feature, farmer's market, concerts, and other community events. The PACT Secondary campus is located at 7729 161st Ave NW between Central Park in Ramsey and the St. Katharine Drexel Church property. Many parks and an extensive trail system are readily accessible and connected by a network of trails that link The COR to the regional parks and trail system.
