Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Red Wing, MN. Multiple positions are available for dedicated Paraprofessionals, with flexible scheduling options to match your availability and expertise. Help shape the educational journey of children who thrive under the encouragement and guidance of compassionate professionals. Current openings include roles as an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.), Kids Club Special Education Paraprofessional (Monday through Friday, 1:30-5:30 p.m.), and Kids Club Lead (Monday through Friday, 1:30-6:00 p.m.). Each position is focused on empowering students to succeed, providing the support they need in both academic and enrichment settings.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Previous experience or training as a Paraprofessional, preferably in special education or youth services Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students and teachers Excellent communication and collaboration skills Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable attitude Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to students' well-being
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in classroom or small group settings, adapting activities to individual educational needs Work closely with special education teachers and staff to implement individualized learning plans Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students Offer encouragement and behavioral support as needed throughout the day For Kids Club Lead, supervise activities and oversee the program during after-school hours With a contract position, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work in a role that fits your schedule and interests.
