This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 3, 2027, offering consistent hours and the chance to positively impact young learners. Positions include both resource and center-based support, with a weekly schedule of 33.75 hours.

Key Qualifications:

Minimum of one years experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting High school diploma or equivalent required Meet one of these pathways: Complete at least two years of college coursework (typically 60 semester credits) at an accredited institution Hold an associate degree or higher Attain a passing score on a recognized formal assessment (e.g., 455 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment, or 65% on ParaEducator Instructional Support/70% on Knowledge and Application) Professional, flexible, and committed to supporting both teachers and students

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in classroom management by supporting instructional activities for diverse learners Work directly with students in both resource and center-based environments Collaborate with teachers to deliver modified curricula or accommodations as needed Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Monitor and document student progress under teacher direction Provide guidance, encouragement, and individualized attention to students
