Job Summary:
Special Education Paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students.Candidate will be required to obtain certification as a district driver (training provided).
Requirements:
In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualifed prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualifed, you must haveONEof the following; a Bachelor's Degree or an Associates Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam.Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications.
