Job Summary:
The paraprofessional will support students in the classroom and throughout the day, including at recess, lunch, and during specialist classes.
Requirements:
To work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualified before your start date. To be considered Highly Qualified, you must have ONE of the following: a Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam. Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. (Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the ParaPro Exam report.) Hours per day: 6.5 hours per day, Monday - Friday (student contact days).

Salary:
Starting rate is $21.00 per hour.
