Job Responsibilities :
Implement behavior strategies designed to de-escalate, stabilize, and improve student behavior, attendance and academic outcomes. Apply student management techniques and reinforcement schedules under the supervision and direction of teacher or building principal. Record and summarize observed data, maintain a log, record computerized data, maintain behavior charts.
Qualifications:
Experience working with elementary school students. Evidence of effective student management and conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be available before school, after school and designated days in the summer for special events, meetings and trainings. Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
