Under the direction of the building principal and guidance of the Media Specialist, performs a variety of duties involved in the operation and maintenance of the media center and in providing assistance to students and staff in the use of media equipment, its resources, and materials. Knowledge of the local educational system. High School Diploma or GED. Library and media center operation, organization and routines and Dewey Decimal System. Strong Communication and Technology skills. Student Centered supportive mindset. All job offers from Willmar Public Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check. August 10, 2026 Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Library General Paraprofessional. Under the direction of the building principal and guidance of the Media Specialist, performs a variety of duties involved in the operation and maintenance of the media center and in providing assistance to students and staff in the use of media equipment, its resources, and materials. Position Library General Paraprofessional Location Middle School Rate of Pay $17.00 per hour Hours Per Day 7 hours, 7:30 am
  • 3:00 pm Schedule (Approximately) School Days Only Working Days per Year 173 Benefits Benefits may be prorated based upon start date.
