Full Job Description Description:
We are looking for warm, flexible, and dependable Substitute Teacher's Aides to support our Early Education classrooms on an as-needed basis. Substitute aides step in when regular staff are absent, helping maintain a consistent, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher and classroom team in caring for and supervising children ages 3-5. Follow the established classroom routines and daily schedule. Engage children in play, learning activities, and transitions. Support with basic needs such as toileting, meals, and rest time. Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and order throughout the day. Communicate with staff and children in a positive and respectful manner. Be flexible and ready to work in different classrooms as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required), BS in Elementary Ed, Early Childhood Education or any other field preferred Previous experience working with young children Reliable and able to respond to last-minute calls or scheduling needs. Friendly, patient, and adaptable to different teaching styles and environments. Must meet state childcare licensing requirements, including background checks and health clearances.
