Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide preferred Understanding of classroom management and teaching methods Ability to assist with individualized instruction and support Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education a plus Comfortable working with students of varying abilities, including those with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in day-to-day classroom activities and instruction Assist individual students or small groups with assignments, activities, and skill-building Foster a respectful and positive atmosphere for learning Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and accommodations as directed Supervise students during class, lunch, recess, and transitions to maintain safety Collaborate with staff to contribute to students' academic and social-emotional growth Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
