Job Description

Description of role: Our daycare center is looking for a Teacher who can create and lead a fun environment that assist in our children's development. We are looking for caring, talented, and energetic teachers to join our team. We are a licensed center in the state of MO and adhere to all licensing guidelines. The teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the birth-5 year old children in our program, and developing a curriculum that children will respond to positively. Other responsibilities include excellent rapport with parents, light cleaning and maintaining a safe a nurturing classroom.
Tasks:
Greeting children and families each morning to the classroom with a warm welcome. Lead daily learning and art activities. Lead the children inside and outside the classroom. Prepare and maintain inviting centers. Assist children in potty training and diaper changing. Singing and reading to children.
Skills and requirements:
The ideal new team member will be punctual, caring, and eager to help the children with their daily needs. Teachers must be organized and focused on the classroom schedule and our center's mission to carry out learning and play activities while also maintaining a clean and safe environment. Must be able to pass background and finger prints screenings. CPR certification and other continuing education will be required.

$15.00 per hour
