There is no requirement to speak Spanish for this position. We are currently seeking one full-time (9:00 am

  • 5:30pm) candidates to assist in our Enrichment classes.
Students attend a three-hour Spanish immersion class during the school day. When they are not in Spanish class, they participate in what we call Enrichment. For our Pre-K (4 and 5 year-old) students, Enrichment is a hands-on, exploration-based learning experience where students develop foundational skills aligned with preschool standards in English. This time is designed to support their academic, social, and developmental growth while preparing them for a successful transition to kindergarten. The Pre-K students have their Enrichment class from 9:00 am
  • 12:00pm.
Our 2s and 3s students participate in Enrichment during the afternoon from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For much of this time, students follow the required two-hour nap schedule. After waking, students engage in a variety of Enrichment activities, free play, and outdoor time from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest time Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate interactions Assist children with toileting, handwashing, and other self-help skills as needed Prepare classroom materials and help set up activities Communicate professionally with parents and staff Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and school policies Attend staff meetings and required trainings Perform other duties as assigned by the director, assistant directors, or lead teacher You will need: Working toward or having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working with children of all ages, with a particular focus on children ages 2-6.
