Instructional Aide
Experience working with students Pre-K through Kindergarten and experience with classroom management. Ideal candidate will have a professional, friendly demeanor, is flexible and demonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals in a fast-paced environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Title Instructional Aide- Elementary (K-5th), Summer 2026
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Columbia Public School District is seeking Instructional Aides for Paxton Keeley Elementary School. (Teachers are paid for the days they work plus the one extra day for building meeting, open house, etc.. Juneteenth and 4th of July are not paid holidays for summer school. Hourly staff are only paid for the days they work.)QUALIFICATIONS
Missouri substitute teaching certificate; 36+ college credit hours, or Associates degree, or 20-hour DESE sub course, or ParaPro assessment. Prior experience in a school setting and/or working with young people.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree, Missouri teaching certificate, previous teaching experience, ability to work in a team teaching setting; A strong desire to teach and be responsible for instructing children as assigned.Experience working with students Pre-K through Kindergarten and experience with classroom management.
