ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a Paraprofessional to support children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges in specialized school settings. In this mission-driven role, you'll work alongside teachers, therapists, and behavior analysts to implement individualized education and behavior plans, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and collect behavior and progress data. You'll help maintain a safe, structured, and compassionate environment, use de-escalation strategies, and support students' academic, social, and life skills development while collaborating closely with families and school partners. Responsibilities Support implementation of individualized behavior and education plans for students. Collect and record behavioral and academic data accurately and consistently. Assist teachers and clinicians in delivering evidence-based interventions. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children and young adults. Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, supportive environment. Communicate observations and progress to the interdisciplinary team. Support students with daily routines, transitions, and social skills. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and training to enhance skills. Collaborate with families and school partners as directed by supervisors.
