Qualifications/Experience:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred Familiarity with 1:1 pediatric care and support in a school environment A calm, empathetic approach to assisting students with behavioral challenges Ability to implement behavior intervention plans as directed by educational and behavioral specialists Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teaching staff, specialists, and families High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications (e.g., RBT certification) highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized, 1:1 support to students with behavioral needs throughout the school day Implement specialized strategies and interventions, as outlined in behavior support plans Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviors, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students Monitor student behavior, track progress, and document observations according to established guidelines Offer encouragement, guidance, and emotional support to students as they work toward their goals Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights into student progress and needs
