Job Description

Training Up A Child LLC is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team! If you have a passion for working with children ages 6 weeks to 2 years and want to make a positive impact during the most important years of development, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Supervise and actively engage with infants and toddlers throughout the day. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through age-appropriate activities. Feed infants and toddlers according to individual schedules and CACFP guidelines. Change diapers and assist with toilet training while maintaining proper sanitation procedures. Follow safe sleep practices and maintain constant supervision of all children. Comfort children and respond promptly to their individual needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's daily activities and care. Complete required documentation, including diapering, feeding, naps, health checks, and incident reports. Follow all state licensing regulations and company policies. Work collaboratively with teachers, administration, and families. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with infants or toddlers is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and frequently bend, kneel, sit on the floor, and carry children. Must pass background screening and fingerprinting. Reliable attendance and dependable transportation are required.
