Open roles as of 8/21/26 include: 1 Resource IA position at an elementary school 2 positions in an all special education setting for elementary-aged medically fragile students 1 position in a secondary classroom primarily serving students with Autism. Extensive experience with medically fragile students and behavioral management is essential.

Preferred skills and experience:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional in K-12 school settings Strong knowledge of supporting students with Autism and medically fragile needs Proven ability to assist teachers in delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) Patience, adaptability, and reliability in fast-paced and changing environments Competence in de-escalation and behavior management strategies Key responsibilities: Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students under the guidance of special education staff Assist with personal care, mobility needs, and health protocols for medically fragile students Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success Adapt learning activities and materials to meet individual needs Expect a rewarding role with flexible contract opportunities in supportive school communities.
