Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant. Substituting is rewarding. Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) requirements and related fees

Substitute Pay Rates:

Teacher:

$140 per day

Paraprofessional and Clerical:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
