School-Based Position Overview ProCare Therapy is seeking a dependable and compassionate School-Based Paraprofessional to support students in an educational setting. The paraprofessional will work alongside teachers and school staff to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small-group support to special needs students. Assist teachers with classroom activities and daily instruction. Support students with academic, behavioral, and social needs. Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Assist students with following classroom routines and expectations. Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families as appropriate. Provide additional classroom support as assigned. Possible toileting and mobility assistance required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, dependable, and compassionate approach to working with students. Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
