Job Description

Monett R-1 School District is seeking applicants for the After-School Program for the 2026/2027 school year. Applications are being accepted for substitutes for our three elementary campuses. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

PROGRAM WORK HOURS

Monday

  • Thursday, 3:00 p.m.
  • 5:30 p.m. on days when school is in session. Friday
  • Start time will vary from campus to campus due to early release times now in place.

Daily hours will vary depending on grade level and student attendance.

JOB SUMMARY

Assist with supervising students, providing enrichment activities, planning recreational activities, maintaining records as required, and managing student behavior while maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and community partners. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in lesson planning for students in the after school program
  • Manage student behavior during program hours
  • Attend all required PD
  • Other duties as assigned
