2026-2027 School Year A school district near Springfield, Missouri is hiring a Paraprofessional with ASL experience for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year . This onsite position will provide direct support to a preschool-aged student in an educational setting.

Job Duties:

Support a student throughout the school day with academic and communication needs Use ASL skills to reinforce classroom communication Work alongside teachers and specialized district staff Assist with engagement, classroom participation, and daily routines Help create a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Working knowledge of American Sign Language Ability to physically assist in classroom interactions, including floor activities Previous paraprofessional or childcare experience preferred Missouri paraprofessional certification preferred but not required Interview participants will include district staff members to evaluate ASL proficiency.
